Miami Beach is 3-0 against Coral Reef since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Miami Beach Hi-Tides will head out to take on the Coral Reef Barracudas at 2:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Miami Beach is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: MAST Academy, who was ranked tenth at the time (Miami Beach was ranked 15th). Miami Beach fell just short of MAST Academy by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Hi-Tides couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Coral Reef has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 5. They and Florida Christian finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Barracudas as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Miami Beach's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3-2. Coral Reef's draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-5.

Miami Beach beat Coral Reef by a goal in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Miami Beach since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
