Basketball Game Preview: Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks vs. Forest City Indians

The Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks will square off against the Forest City Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Forest City will be up against a hot Waverly-Shell Rock squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Waverly-Shell Rock took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 79-33 victory over Prairie du Chien. Given the Go-Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 49th in Iowa, while the Blackhawks are ranked 456th in Wisconsin), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything went Forest City's way against North Iowa on Friday as Forest City made off with a 70-50 win. The victory was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on four straight.

Forest City is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
