After a string of four wins, Wyoming Area's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. The matchup between them and the Old Forge Blue Devils didn't end well, with the Wyoming Area Warriors falling 60-46. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 78th).

Wyoming Area's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Old Forge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyoming Area will square off against MMI Preparatory School at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Old Forge, they will face off against Holy Cross at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Old Forge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Holy Cross likes a good challenge.
