Softball Recap: Lake Belton's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to 21

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lake Belton had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Ennis Lions. Considering the Broncos have won 19 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the 21st in a row for Lake Belton, bringing their record up to 31-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ennis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-11.
