Volleyball Recap: Grayslake North Gets the Win

Grayslake North picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Amundsen Vikings by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

While Grayslake North won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22.

Logan Smith paced Grayslake North's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Noah Sanzana and his 11 assists. Emmanuel Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Grayslake North's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Amundsen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Grayslake North has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Elk Grove on the 26th. As for Amundsen, they will welcome Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
