Basketball Recap: Nicolet Takes a Loss

Nicolet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 75-48 loss at the hands of the Grafton Black Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Black Hawks are ranked 127th).

Nicolet's record now sits at 1-5. As for Grafton, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Nicolet and Cedarburg will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grafton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 38-36 defeat against Waupun on the 16th.
