Preview: Bendle Tigers vs. Beecher Buccaneers

Bendle is 0-10 against Beecher since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bendle Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Beecher Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Bendle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.

Bendle pushed their score all the way to 65, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 70-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Durand. Bendle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The losing side was boosted by Malis Firman, who scored 21 points along with seven assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gabe Alomar, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Beecher had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against Atherton as Beecher made off with a 73-52 win. Beecher has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Bendle has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Beecher, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Things could have been worse for Bendle, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 73-59 loss to Beecher when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Bendle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
