Softball Recap: Mcdonell Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

McDonell Central extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 18-6-1. They came out on top against the Somerset Spartans by a score of 5-1. This was a revenge game for the Macks: when they faced off against the Spartans back in March, they had to take a 11-10 loss.

As for Somerset, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 17-7 record. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Somerset's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Heintz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

As of now, neither McDonell Central nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
