Basketball Recap: Peoria Heights Takes a Loss

Peoria Heights suffered their biggest defeat since January 10th on Friday. They came up short against the Peoria Christian Chargers, falling 78-52. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 600th, while the Chargers are ranked 233rd).

Peoria Heights' loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Peoria Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-8.

Peoria Heights will host Havana at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peoria Christian, they will head out to square off against Princeville at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th.
