There's no place like home for Pillager, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Sebeka Trojans 6-5 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Kaden Imdieke and Elliott Imdieke made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Imdieke tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Elliott struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up five earned runs off nine hits. At bat, Imdieke scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Elliott went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

In other batting news, Grant Grimsley was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

The win got Pillager back to even at 1-1. As for Sebeka, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pillager will challenge Kimball at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sebeka, they will square off against Pine River-Backus at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
