Oxford will head out to face Long Beach after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. The Chargers fell 2-0 to Lewisburg. Oxford fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Lewisburg since Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Stone kept up with Long Beach until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bearcats blew past the Tomcats 3-0. Long Beach might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Long Beach and bumps their season record up to 3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Oxford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
