Basketball Recap: West Has No Trouble Against Chino

The third road matchup was the charm for West, as they earned their first road win of the season. They took down the Chino Cowboys 73-55 on Saturday.

When it comes to explaining why Chino lost, don't look at Dario Shields. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards. The game was Shields' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Yousef Ihmud, who posted eight points.

West's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Chino, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-41 defeat against El Segundo on the 7th. Chino has also already played their next game, a 70-52 victory against Diamond Ranch on the 8th.
