Baseball Recap: Eugene Comes Up Short

If Eugene was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Osage on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Centralia Panthers on Friday, falling 14-4. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Eugene saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeffrey Schulte, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Eugene will face off against California at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Centralia, they are taking a road trip to challenge Harrisburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
