Basketball Game Preview: Northumberland Indians vs. Rappahannock Raiders

Northumberland is 1-9 against Rappahannock since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Northumberland Indians will host the Rappahannock Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Northumberland lost 48-25 to Colonial Beach on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Rappahannock was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 25-19 to Lancaster. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northumberland now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Rappahannock, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Northumberland was able to grind out a solid victory over Rappahannock in their previous matchup back in January, winning 31-21. Does Northumberland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rappahannock turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
