Volleyball Recap: Howell Comes Up Short

Howell lost against Parkway Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Colts. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Parkway Central scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Remy Walkowiak paced Howell's offense, picking up seven kills. Walkowiak got some help from Thomas Thoman and his 15 assists.

Howell's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Parkway Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-1 record this season.

Howell has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Mehlville on the 26th. As for Parkway Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Fort Zumwalt West on the 26th.
