Springville scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Wasatch Wasps by a score of 12-10. The Red Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Easton Van Sickle made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Reid Deede, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Springville's record now sits at 3-9. As for Wasatch, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

While Springville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
