Soccer Recap: Englewood Comes Up Short

Englewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Jefferson Saints. That's two games in a row now that Englewood have lost by exactly two goals.

Englewood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Jefferson, the win got them back to even at 3-3-2.

Coincidentally, Englewood and Jefferson will both be playing Middle Park the next time they take the pitch. The Saints will head out to face the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
