            Sumner-Eddyville-Miller was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss. They came up short against  the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons, falling  45-20. The  matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.

 Despite the  defeat, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller had strong showings from  Lily Hrasky, who  posted eight points and 12  boards, and  Jaycelyn Hoos, who  put up four  points along with six  rebounds and four  steals. Those 12  rebounds gave  Hrasky a new career-high.
  Madison Bunger was  her usual excellent self,  going 7 of 16  en route to 18 points in addition to seven  boards and three  steals for Wilcox-Hildreth. Bunger is also on a roll when it comes to  blocks, as she's  now  posted two or more in the last seven games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Katelyn Bunger, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine  points and nine  rebounds.
Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record  this season.
 Sumner-Eddyville-Miller wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  57-34  defeat against Pleasanton on the 6th. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they have also  already played their next game,  a  43-37  victory against Overton on the 6th.
