Volleyball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown and Fox Creek squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Georgetown had to settle for second. They came up short against the Predators, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-13.

Leading Fox Creek to victory were Ellie Warner and Skylar Miles. Warner had ten digs and one assist, while Miles had eight assists and two aces.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Fox Creek, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-9.

Georgetown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fox Creek, they will face off against Hanahan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
