Soccer Recap: Lynnwood Takes a Loss

Lynnwood lost against Archbishop Murphy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Royals fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Lynnwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Archbishop Murphy are ranked 16th).

Lynnwood dropped their record down to 2-7-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Archbishop Murphy, their win bumped their record up to 8-0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynnwood will welcome Kamiak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Archbishop Murphy, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Meadowdale at 7:00 p.m. Archbishop Murphy are facing Meadowdale at the right time seeing as Meadowdale are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
