Meanwhile, Ridgefield strolled past R.A. Long with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-16. The victory continues a trend for the Spudders in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won seven in a row.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Ridgefield, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Woodland beat Ridgefield 14-7 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beavers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
