Berkeley Springs' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Moorefield as they made off with a 10-0 win. It was an even better day for Abigail Close as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pocahontas County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Petersburg on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Pocahontas County needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Berkeley Springs is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five contests. As for Pocahontas County, their win bumped their record up to 11-6-1.
