Volleyball Recap: Niwot Wins Going Away Against Boulder

It was a proper cat-fight when Niwot challenged Boulder on Wednesday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

While Niwot won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 25-11.

Sienna Knight was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Niwot has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Boulder, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Niwot wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Greeley West on the 29th. As for Boulder, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Platte Canyon on the 29th.
