Baseball Recap: Gavin Ryerson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead La Quinta over La Habra

If La Quinta was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Palm Springs last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blackhawks wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since February 24, 2024.

La Quinta saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Ryerson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

La Quinta has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for La Habra, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
