Soccer Recap: Unity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Unity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Bunnies. Unity Christian Academy were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Unity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-3-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Unity Christian Academy and Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will both be playing Manteno the next time they take the pitch. The Phoenix will head out to face the Panthers at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bunnies will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
