Volleyball Recap: Hammond Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Hammond hadn't done well against Liberty Magnet recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Tornadoes came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. For the Tornadoes, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Hammond pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Liberty Magnet, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-14.

Hammond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Caddo Magnet on the 27th. As for Liberty Magnet, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Walker on the 27th.
