Basketball Recap: Tioga's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Tioga unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 64-53 to the Peabody Warhorses. The Indians lost against the Warhorses in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 79-43 score last time.

Tioga's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Peabody, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tioga will head out to face off against Rapides at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rapides is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season. As for Peabody, they will challenge Avoyelles Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
