Basketball Recap: Nicolet Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Slinger

On Friday, Nicolet faced Slinger in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Nicolet Knights received a blow as they fell 71-57 to the Slinger Owls. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Nicolet still got an impressive performance from David Bolden, who went 13-for-27 to rack up 32 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Zuithoff, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Nicolet has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-6 record this season. As for Slinger, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-2.
