Center Hill wins going away against Southaven

The Center Hill Mustangs waltzed into Tuesday's match with three straight wins but they left with four. They put the hurt on Southaven with a sharp 66-43 win. The result was nothing new for Center Hill, who have now won four contests by 23 points or more so far this season.

Center Hill had a senior duo take command as Zarria Shipp scored 24 points along with 7 rebounds and Jairya Rankins dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds. The match was Rankins' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ariel Nelson, who scored 6 points.

Center Hill has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 6-1 record. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.33 points. As for Southaven, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Center Hill will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hutchison at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Hutchison is ranked 47th in Tennessee, while Center Hill is ranked 45th in Mississippi). As for Southaven, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Cormorant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Cormorant has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
