Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Lawrence). Everything went their way against the Danville Hawks on Thursday as they made off with a 16-10 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

East Lawrence's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-20. As for Danville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

East Lawrence will face off against Good Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Danville, they will square off against West Point at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
