New Braunfels came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tivy Antlers. That's more bragging rights for the Unicorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

New Braunfels was led to victory by Jordynn Ash and Hayden Jeffers. Ash had 11 digs and two aces, while Jeffers had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Jeffers has posted over her last nine matches. Shaylie Schaefer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

New Braunfels' victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Tivy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

New Braunfels wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cedar Park on the 22nd. As for Tivy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against La Vernia on the 23rd.
