Volleyball Recap: Goleman Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Goleman waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Coral Park Rams by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Gators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

In the three sets Goleman was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 17-25, 25-13, 25-9.

Kiersten Joy paced Goleman's offense, picking up 16 kills. Joy got some help from Adriana Cuarezma and her 17 assists. Cuarezma was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Goleman's record is now 12-6. As for Coral Park, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Coming up, Goleman will head out on the road to challenge Western at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coral Park, they will be playing at home against Southridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
