Softball Recap: Seton Comes Up Short

Seton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Monroe Hornets, falling 14-4.

Seton's record is now 2-5. As for Monroe, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton will head out to take on Mount Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Seton's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mount Notre Dame has averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Monroe, they will head out on the road to face off against Valley View at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
