Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jordan). They walked away with an 89-76 victory over the Park City Miners on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-41 back in December of 2024.
Leading Jordan to victory were Mason Tolley and Holden Warnick. Tolley went 6 for 11 en route to 22 points, while Warnick shot 5-for-9 from deep and dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Warnick a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jackson Ostler, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.
Kurtis Menge and Luke Rice certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Menge almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine boards, while Rice went 5 of 11 on his way to 18 points and seven assists. Wes Dewitt was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.
Jordan's record now sits at 7-11. As for Park City, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
When Jordan and Park City next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Jordan will challenge Murray and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Park City will try to stop Cottonwood's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
