Volleyball Recap: Carlsbad's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Carlsbad's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 1st.

Carlsbad walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 26-24, 25-15.

When it comes to explaining why San Dieguito Academy lost, don't look at Ellie Burr. Despite the final result, she had 28 digs. Burr has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alanna Fregoso, who had 12 digs and four aces.
