Volleyball Recap: Hyde Park Comes Up Short

Hyde Park lost against Round Rock Christian Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Panthers haven't been shut out since back in September.

Hyde Park was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Round Rock Christian Academy work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 26-24.

Hyde Park's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-13. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 34-14 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Hyde Park will challenge Midland Christian on Tuesday. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they will take on John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
