It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the KIPP College Prep Panthers can now relate to. They suffered a tough 32-6 loss at the hands of KIPP DC Legacy College Prep on Friday. KIPP College Prep just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
KIPP DC Legacy College Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isiah Parker, who rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 105 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes. The team also got some help courtesy of King Williams, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
KIPP College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3-1.
KIPP College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. KIPP DC Legacy College Prep is on the road again on Friday and play against Maret. Maret is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
