Football Game Preview: Harriman Blue Devils vs. Oliver Springs Bobcats + How To Watch

Harriman hasn't had much luck against Oliver Springs recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. Harriman has given up an average of 42.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Harriman came up short against Tellico Plains last Friday, falling 39-14.

Meanwhile, Oliver Springs was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 32-26 to Midway.

Defeat or not, Oliver Springs got some senior leadership from Jaxon Jett and Liam Boeke. Jett gained 138 total yards, while Boeke threw for 259 yards and four touchdowns.

Oliver Springs' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Harriman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Harriman might still be hurting after the 40-14 loss they got from Oliver Springs when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
