Basketball Recap: Needham Comes Up Short

Needham was the 45-32 winner over Braintree when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Needham Rockets fell just short of the Braintree Wamps by a score of 52-49 on Thursday. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Needham now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Braintree, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Needham and Xaverian Brothers will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th. Braintree will take on Durfee in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
