St. Frances Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Chaminade-Madonna Lions 42-13 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won seven games in a row dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Chaminade-Madonna lost, don't look at Jasen Lopez. Despite the final result, he picked up 118 receiving yards and one TD.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
