Baseball Recap: Hopkins Academy Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Hopkins Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Amherst-Pelham Regional, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's match. The Golden Hawks were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. For the Golden Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 6-4 win the Hurricanes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Hopkins Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Amherst-Pelham Regional, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hopkins Academy will welcome Easthampton/Hampshire at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Hawks are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Amherst-Pelham Regional, they will host Belchertown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
