Volleyball Recap: Boys Town Comes Up Short at Home Against Brownell Talbot

Boys Town unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Brownell Talbot Raiders on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7.

Brownell Talbot can attribute much of their success to Becky Hoban, who had 16 assists. Hoban has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last six times she's played.

Brownell Talbot's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Boys Town has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on the 28th. As for Brownell Talbot, they will take on College View Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
