EYBL Scholastic matchups are set to shape National Top 10 rankings.

Following the release of our Preseason National Top 10 last month, early season indications confirm Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) as the team to beat. The Eagles appear to be clicking on all cylinders to begin the 2023-24 campaign.

Montverde Academy (4-0) has outscored four top 100 opponents by an average of 35.5 points per contest.

The Eagles will look to further their hold on the top spot this week with showdowns against No. 5 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) on Thursday, MaxPreps Top 25 No. 8 Columbus (Miami, Fla.) on Friday and Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.) on Saturday.

Eight teams from the powerhouse EYBL Scholastic conference are featured in the first regular season National Top 10 update. Anticipated matchups between conference opponents are expected to shape future rankings updates.
