Houston won the last time they faced Kingsland and Jorja Meyer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hurricanes walked away with a 3-1 win over the Knights on Thursday for which the team can thank Meyer, who hit 100% for nine kills and six aces, four digs, and two blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to hitting percentage, as she's posted one of at least 100% in the last 15 games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 13-25, 25-23.

Houston has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Kingsland, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Houston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Rushford-Peterson on the 6th. As for Kingsland, they will square off against LeRoy-Ostrander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
