Academy for Classical Education has struggled against Southwest recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Academy for Classical Education saw an underclassman step up: Camden Bailey scored 19 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Scarbary, who scored eight points.
Even though they lost, Academy for Classical Education were working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. This was only their 13th loss (out of 18 games) when they've passed the ball that well.
Academy for Classical Education has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Southwest, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Academy for Classical Education didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-54 loss vs. Spencer on the 9th. Southwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
