Tanque Verde has gone 6-0 against Catalina recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tanque Verde Hawks will look to defend their home pitch against the Catalina Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Tanque Verde will be strutting in after a victory while Catalina will be coming in after a loss.

Tanque Verde's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Empire as Tanque Verde made off with an 8-0 win. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Empire from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Bella Gooch led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Catalina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to Safford.

Tanque Verde is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those six games. As for Catalina, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Tanque Verde's way against Catalina in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Tanque Verde made off with a 5-1 victory. Does Tanque Verde have another victory up their sleeve, or will Catalina turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
