Softball Recap: Scott County Central Takes a Loss

If Scott County Central was riding high fresh off their 14-3 takedown of Richland last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Braves fell 11-6 to the Delta Bobcats on Friday. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 14-4.

Scott County Central's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Delta, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Scott County Central and Delta will both be playing Oak Ridge the next time they take the field. The Braves will head out to face the Blue Jays at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
