Recap: Moon Valley Rockets vs. Arcadia Titans
The Moon Valley Rockets were the 50-45 winner over the Arcadia Titans when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Moon Valley fell 64-55 to Arcadia on Monday. Moon Valley's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Moon Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kevin Gray. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds. Gray is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eddie Boone, who scored 11 points.
Moon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Arcadia, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moon Valley will challenge Mingus at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Arcadia, they will head out on the road to face off against Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Thunderbird is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
