Baseball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

The Washington Rams came up short against the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos on Tuesday and fell 6-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Alpista, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Washington's record is now 6-9. As for La Joya Community, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

While Washington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
