League recap: Estrada dominating on the mound for San Diego

City league recap: 4/3/13

City's top pitcher this week was San Diego's Freddy Estrada. He won one game and struck out seven batters.

Christian Rangel had the hottest bat in the league this week, racking up a .875 average with two RBIs. Morse compiled a record of 1-1 in that time.

The Tigers boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

Ten batters hit over .400 this week. The group was paced by Christian Rangel, who collected seven hits in eight at bats for a .875 average.

Morse's Rangel led the league with seven hits this week. He is second in the league with 18 hits this year, and has a .409 batting average.



Jasper Crusberg drove in four runners on Tuesday in Coronado's 10-6 victory over the Cavers. He went 2-for-4 and scored one run.
